Throughout the weekend, our team had the opportunity to speak with countless attendees, many of whom were already part of the OMTech family. We spoke to a wide range of makers and hobbyists, including CausePlay, the first-ever mobile makerspace designed for cosplayers and creators, who rely on OMTech machines to power their projects. Hearing so many success stories was inspiring and a powerful reminder of what’s possible when creativity meets the right tools.
Spotlight on Education and Student Innovation
The excitement didn’t stop with seasoned creators. We were especially thrilled to connect with students, teachers, and makerspace leaders interested in bringing laser engraving technology into classrooms and educational workshops. Many expressed curiosity about our growing OMTech Education Program, which provides exclusive school discounts, free consumables, and learning resources designed to integrate laser machines into the STEAM curriculum. This ongoing effort to empower future makers is a core part of our mission—and Maker Faire OC proved just how eager the next generation is to dive in.
