Choose Aurora D1 Pro if you need dual-head performance for faster batch production. Aurora D1 uses a single Epson F1080 printhead with up to 11 sq ft/h print speed. Aurora D1 Pro uses dual Epson I1600 printheads with up to 50 sq ft/h print speed, making it better suited for higher-volume production.

Yes. The Aurora D1 Series uses CMYK ink with white ink support, making it suitable for transfers on both light and dark fabrics when used with the proper DTF film, powder, RIP settings, and heat press settings.
DTF printing requires DTF textile ink, DTF PET transfer film, hot melt powder, and heat press transfer. Moisturizing liquid, cleaning supplies, and other maintenance items may also be needed for regular operation.
For best results, OMTech recommends using OMTech-compatible DTF ink, PET transfer film, hot melt powder, and maintenance supplies. Third-party consumables may affect print quality, maintenance performance, or warranty coverage if they are not compatible.
Aurora D1 Series printers include white ink circulation, automatic stirring, timed cleaning, automatic moisturizing, ink level alerts, waste ink alerts, and electric ink refill. These features help reduce manual upkeep and support more consistent output.
Yes. For automatic maintenance and standby protection, the printer should remain powered on when not in use. The Aurora D1 Series supports standby protection when powered on and properly maintained. For extended downtime, follow the storage and maintenance instructions in the user manual.
The printhead is covered for 1 month, while the machine body and eligible accessories are covered for 1 year. Consumables and ink-contact parts are excluded from 1-year coverage. If you need support, please provide your order information, model, serial number if available, a clear description of the issue, and photos or videos showing the problem.
