To set up your 30-day free trial of LightBurn with an OMTech Pronto 60W CO2 laser, you'll need to download the trial and manually pair it with the machine's Ruida digital controller. Here's how:

Step 1: Download and Activate the Trial

  1. Go to the official LightBurn Download / Trial page and download the version corresponding to your operating system (Windows or Mac).
  2. Run the installer. On Windows, make sure to check the box to install the FTDI serial driver; this allows your computer to communicate with the laser controller.
  3. Open LightBurn for the first time. When the license prompt appears, click Activate Trial. This unlocks the fully-featured software with no watermarks for 30 days.

Step 2: Connect the Hardware

  1. Connect your OMTech Pronto to your computer using the provided USB cable.
