Before You Choose.
The OMTech G3 marks and engraves metals such as steel, aluminum, brass, titanium, gold and silver. Applications include metal jewelry, nameplates, tools and machine parts. Wood and paper are not supported.
Choose 30W if you prioritize a lower upfront investment in metal marking and engraving. Choose 50W if processing efficiency matters more for repeat jobs or deeper engraving. Both power options support the same desktop, split and handheld configurations.
Yes. Both the 30W and 50W OMTech G3 support Desktop, Split and Handheld use. Choose Desktop for bench jobs, Split to reconfigure your workspace, or Handheld to bring the head to large or fixed parts—all with one machine.
Yes. Bring the quick-release head to large or installed metal parts where the focusing hood can sit flat against the marking surface. The head remains connected to the main unit and provides a 150 × 150 mm marking field.
The optical marking field is 150 × 150 mm in all three configurations. For desktop use, the workbed measures 350 × 250 mm and the maximum processing height is 170 mm.
Connect a Windows or macOS computer by USB to prepare and control your jobs. OMTech Mark is included, and LightBurn is also compatible, with its license sold separately.
Yes. You can add compatible rotary and conveyor accessories as your work expands. A rotary attachment supports marking on suitable cylindrical metal parts. Both accessories are sold separately.
