This year, OMTech was a proud exhibitor at the Bay Area Maker Faire—an event dedicated to DIYers, innovators, tinkerers, inventors, and makers of every kind. Maker Faire is a space where a vibrant community connects, collaborates, and celebrates creativity. For OMTech, it was our ideal opportunity to engage with educators, students, and makers shaping the future of innovation.

Showcasing OMTech Laser Engravers

Throughout the event, our team demonstrated how OMTech laser engravers empower classrooms and personal workshops. With their speed, precision, and reliability, our machines captured the attention of attendees eager to see the possibilities of laser cutting and engraving firsthand. Visitors were especially impressed by the performance of our systems—quick, detailed results that bring ideas to life.

Our mission is simple: to support education, innovation, and the next generation of makers. That’s why we focus not only on hobbyists and professionals, but also on schools and organizations shaping tomorrow’s creators.

Meeting Inspiring Makers

One of the highlights of Maker Faire was connecting with companies and groups who already use OMTech machines to create meaningful work.

PrintCycle, a sustainable startup that makes guitar picks from recycled materials, shared their passion for creativity and environmental responsibility. Their use of OMTech machines shows how technology and sustainability can go hand in hand.

We also met Accessible Art Studio, the driving force behind Makers Making Change: Sacramento. They inspired us with their mission to connect people with disabilities to makers who can design and build affordable assistive technologies. Seeing our machines help power this mission was a true testament to what’s possible when tools are placed in the hands of people committed to making a difference.
